Lord Jesus, I thank you that because You paid the ransom for our sins, we as the redeemed, will be citizens of your Holy City and everlasting joy will be upon our heads and sorrow and sadness will flee away.

Lord Jesus, I pray that You will help us to live a life that is pleasing in Your sight so that You will cause even our enemies to be at peace with us.

Psalm 85:9-Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land. 


Prayer for the Day

Lord Jesus, I thank You that You are good and upright and that You are near to those of us who reverently fear You. I thank You for being our help thought-out the ages. We know Lord Jesus, that help from You is only a prayer away. We need only to call upon You and You will show us great and mighty thing.

Lord Jesus, I thank You that while we were yet sinners, You died for us. I thank You that Your blood covers a multitude of sins. I thank You for Your promise that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and Just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Lord Jesus, I thank You and praise You for Your grace, goodness and mercy. Help us to always walk uprightly so that we will be continuously showered with the good things of God.

Lord Jesus, I thank You that our strength is in You. Please help each of us to be a person after your heart, following hard after You, so that we are blessed by You  according to Your promise in Your Word.

Lord Jesus, please keep us forever in Your care as You have done for your people in ages past. Lord we thank You that You are the same yesterday, today and forevermore, and You are not a respecter of persons, for what You did for others You will do for us. Thank You that You said in Isaiah 41:12 "...Even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought."

Psalm 82:3-4; Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

Lord Jesus, I pray that You will defend us and deliver us out of the hands of the enemy. Help us not to be fearful knowing that You have not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Lord Jesus, please help us to listen to and obey Your voice, knowing that you love us dearly and that we are precious in Your sight. Lord Jesus, help us to trust in Your love knowing that You want only the best for us.

Lord Jesus, I rejoice in You and I praise you with all of my heart for Your goodness, Your mercy and your abiding love for us. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for our salvation.
