Scripture and Prayer for 2/4

Scripture for the Day

Psalm 19:1-The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Prayer for the Day

Lord Jesus, I am in awe of all of your works and I glorify Your Holy and righteous name for the wondrous things that you have made.

Daily Reading

Psalm 19:1-6 (King James Version)

1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

Your Personal Response

Psalm 85:8-I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for He will speak peace unto His people, and to His saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

Scripture and Prayer for 2/3

Scripture for the Day

Psalm 18:48-He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

Prayer for the Day

Lord Jesus, thank You for lifting me up above those that rise up against me and delivering me from the violence of man.

Daily Reading

Psalm 18:45-50 (King James Version)

45The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
46The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
47It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.
48He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
49Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
50Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
