Thank Your, Lord Jesus, for defending and saving the upright. Help us to always strive to do the things that are right and pleasing in Your sight, so that we can rest assured that You will fend for us in any and all situations.

 ⁸The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
 ⁹Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.

Lord Jesus, Thank You for Your promise that when the enemy shall come in like a flood, Your Spirit shall lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). Thank You for being the righteous judge who will avenge for us.

Lord Jesus, I pray that You will keep the workers of iniquity far from us. Lord, thank You for hearing us when we cry out to You in distress.

Lord Jesus, please visit us with your tender mercies in our distress, please send help and healing in mind body and spirit. Thank You for Your promise that though weeping may endure for a night, joy will come in the morning.
